Founder and CEO
Dan is a leading plant science innovator who has been transforming agriculture with high value technology for over 25 years. His passion for plant biology and production research led him to discover, develop, and deploy a series of technologies that revolutionized multiple row crop breeding pipelines. Dan is also an industry expert on controlled environment agriculture and is now focused on strategies to enable the Food Revolution: reimagining how we produce, distribute, and eat nutritious fresh food. This expertise includes crop and climate modeling for protected culture, trait discovery, vertical farming design, and precision horticulture systems. Dan believes innovation and value comes from creating a fearless and diverse science culture.
Beth Savidge, PhD
Founder and CSO
Beth is a demonstrated AgTech science leader with over two decades of experience driving game-changing science and innovation. With a background in molecular biology, plant reproductive biology, and plant physiology, she has worked on improving nutritional content of canola and led teams to increase seed oil content. For 10 years she led an Innovation Team, which delivered over $1B of value to soy, corn and vegetable breeding pipelines, by developing speed breeding and other transformative innovations. She also has a strong passion for people development and creating a winning culture.
Daniel Hopper, PhD
Senior Advisor, Cultivation and Facility Design
Daniel has 8 years of experience as a Director of Cultivation for a high quality indoor controlled environment facility. Daniel’s expertise includes environmental controls and HVAC, IPM program implementation, facility design, nutrient management, genetics and breeding pipelines, R&D, as well as team building skills. Daniel brings a high level of professionalism to the agriculture industry and believes in a data-driven approach to any decision-making process.
Nick Wagner, MBA, JD
Chief Business Officer
Nick has spent over 25 years in AgTech conducting cutting edge science, and developing novel business and legal strategies. Nick started out in the lab and greenhouse, conducting research on oils biosynthesis and plant physiology. However, while managing the quality traits business portfolio and IP strategy, he decided to pursue an MBA, and later, a law degree, so he could leverage his analytical skills to drive the business.
